More than 65 manufacturers from the construction industry have used the challenging year 2020 for a digitization and automation push in the ProMaterial network. These manufacturers, mainly from the insulation, drywall, tools, construction elements, wood, construction chemicals, garden and landscaping sectors, have joined the ProMaterial distribution network.
This means that more than 800,000 products from manufacturers' catalogs are already available for online sales, with over 12 million product properties and over 1 million media (images, data sheets, etc.). The products and the corresponding product data can be linked and sold quickly and efficiently in (online) sales channels, comprehensively and in optimum quality.
Outlook 2021: ProMaterial expects continued strong growth. By the end of the year, we expect to have over 50 million product properties and over 2 million media elements.
Thanks to ProMaterial technology, manufacturers and distributors benefit from extreme process automation, be it when selling products in their own sales channels or to sales partners. The preparation of product data significantly increases efficiency in sales.
