ProMaterial launches a new distribution network for the construction industry
Dusseldorf, 12 November 2018 - ProMaterial is the new technology network specializing in online sales of construction products. The innovative sales concept supports the search for and the purchase of building materials within milliseconds in different channels. ProMaterial already lists 200 manufacturers with 500,000 products for sale in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
The high-performance sales solution enables manufacturers and distributors to present building materials momentarily via various sales channels on the Internet and to sell them efficiently. All buyer groups find information about products in the required format for use in BIM or calculation systems or more easily via a webshop, app or tablet. For construction companies and end customers, the order becomes more convenient and the offer richer and more transparent. As technology provider ProMaterial is not a market participant.
In January 2019, ProMaterial will be represented at the trade fair BAU 2019 for the first time. At booth C5/100 the first customer portal based on the ProMaterial technology will be presented live.
Before founding ProMaterial at the beginning of 2018, CEO Dirk Schaper was managing director of HOCHTIEF ViCon GmbH, an international provider of services for virtual construction and building information modeling (BIM) for eleven years. The graduated civil engineer also has an additional thirteen years of practical experience in construction management and as leader of strategic innovation initiatives within HOCHTIEF's corporate development. With the ProMaterial concept, Dirk Schaper realizes his longtime vision for digitized distribution within the construction industry.
