UniversalTypes are the new and uniform language for the construction industry. The properties of building products are thus described in a manufacturer-neutral way - coded, format-independent and open.

As a backend technology provider, ProMaterial offers a uniform API for the purchase and sale of building products. All software manufacturers from the construction industry can use the open API and thus make work easier for construction companies. Manufacturers and resellers can distribute their products digitized more easily without media discontinuity.
Data and digitization are crucial tools for combating the climate crisis. We are therefore continuing to expand UniversalTypes together with manufacturers, partners and associations in order to map further sustainability and emissions attributes in the UniversalTypes database.
